This was sadly the end of the short lived era of animation shorts as a mean of communicating Mona's Universe @GitHub.
It was a great time though!
We honed our traditional Animation - Production, Pipeline and Storytelling skills while trying our best to tie it all to GitHub’s products.

To honor historic female figures in tech and science, @GitHub commissioned us to sculpt busts of prominent and hidden figures.
These would then be moulded and cast in bronze and displayed in the library at GitHub's San Francisco Headquarters.
Given my passion for space exploration I chose to honor Dorothy Jean Johnson Vaughan. She was was an American mathematician and human computer who worked for the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), and NASA, at Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. In 1949, she became acting supervisor of the West Area Computers, the first African-American woman to receive a promotion and supervise a group of staff at the center.
