Tony Jaramillo and I produced a ton of work this year.
AWS launch animated video. And we created an opener for the 2014 GitHub Summit.
I was responsible for character and background and color design, color scripting and some animation.

We wanted to pitch an idea for potential animated shorts about Mona the octocat.
This particular one had Mona working on and unveiling Hubot's new design.
From script to storyboards and animatics; between visual development, and background layout ; from rough animation to cleanup and color. We did it all in hopes we could get more hired hands to really beef up the then; - Github Animation Studio.

Given the production quality and the length of the shorts themselves; - This was an insane amount of work for the short time frame and being a team of two animators.
But we did it anyway.
We were driven by the thought of creating a compelling story and a rich visual universe behind GitHub’s mascot - Mona. A world where we could pull indefinite visual cues to support the brand, but have a huge depth as well, - one that could drive the curiosity of octocat fans and break the "hard edge" that most tech companies have.
